The day I realized I had fallen in love with you was both frightening and wonderful. I was so afraid that I’d fail you somehow but I was elated that I had found someone like you.
In the months and months since that day we’ve grown together and I thank God for everyday I’ve had with you. I know it’s been hard for you, we’ve been with distance longer than not, and I want to let you know that it will be worth it.
This is our first Valentine’s Day, and I’m so far away. It’s not fair for you. But know that we’re going to have many more Valentine’s Days together and that this is just a phase in our relationship.
We’re also going to miss your birthday, and mine. But what are a few important days when I want to spend the rest of my life with you?
